Peakime Creator Earnings & Payout Policy

How Peakime’s standard creator revenue model works — the 60% share, eligibility, verification, payouts and reversals.

Effective 11 August 2026 Last updated 11 August 2026 PeakCraft Studios Private Limited

Peakime is designed not only to give creators somewhere to publish, but also to provide eligible creators with opportunities to earn from the audiences they build. This Policy should be read together with the Peakime Terms of Service and any programme-specific or production agreement that applies to a creator.

60 / 40 standard split

Creators receive 60% of Net Eligible Revenue; Peakime retains 40%.

Coins ≠ Earnings

Peak Coins sit in the consumer wallet; Creator Earnings live in a separate ledger.

Threshold-based payouts

Payouts are released once verification and the dashboard-displayed threshold are met.

No guaranteed income

Earnings depend on qualifying audience transactions — historical revenue never guarantees future revenue.

Revenue Model

Creator Earnings Are Separate From Peak Coins

Peak Coins belong to the consumer wallet. Creator Earnings belong to a separate financial ledger — they must not be treated as the same balance. A reader may purchase Peak Coins and leave those Coins unused; no particular creator has necessarily earned revenue merely because those Coins were purchased. Creator revenue generally becomes attributable when eligible Coins are actually consumed on qualifying creator content or support — eligible chapter unlocks, premium novels, webtoon or manga episodes, premium Panels, Powerstones or another qualifying creator transaction.

Standard Creator Revenue Share

Under Peakime’s standard creator-content monetisation programme, the applicable creator or rightsholder receives 60% of Net Eligible Revenue, and Peakime retains 40%. This standard split applies unless a different creator, licensing, production or FANOA agreement expressly provides another arrangement.

What Net Eligible Revenue Means

Net Eligible Revenue is not necessarily the amount originally displayed at checkout — it is the qualifying transaction revenue after relevant transaction-level deductions. Depending on how the user paid, deductions can include app-store commissions, payment-processing charges, transaction taxes included in the collected amount, legitimate refunds, chargebacks, fraudulent or unauthorised transactions, directly attributable currency-conversion costs, and other transaction costs clearly disclosed under the applicable programme. The creator’s 60% share is calculated after those qualifying deductions — this prevents Peakime from promising a creator a percentage of money that PeakCraft never actually receives or is required to return.

Example: a ₹100 qualifying transaction with a ₹15 platform deduction (Apple, Google Play or payment system) leaves ₹85 Net Eligible Revenue. Under the standard 60/40 model, the creator share is ₹51 and the Peakime share is ₹34. The actual calculation depends on the transaction, applicable taxes and other deductions — this is explanatory, not a guarantee every ₹100 transaction has the same deductions.

When Revenue Becomes Attributable

Peakime may use a transaction ledger to track the source and value of Coins, because Coins may have been acquired through different channels with different transaction costs — Coins purchased through an app store may differ from Coins purchased through a web payment provider, and Promotional Coins may have no customer purchase price at all. Peakime calculates Creator Earnings using the economic value attributable to the eligible consumed Coin transaction rather than assuming every Coin has identical net monetary value in every circumstance.

Promotional Coins and Powerstones

Promotional or complimentary Coins may be treated differently from Purchased Coins for creator-revenue purposes — Peakime may fund a creator payment itself, apply a promotional earning calculation, or make certain complimentary Coins ineligible for cash creator earnings, with the relevant programme explaining any material change in treatment.

Powerstones are fan-support digital items. Where a supporter uses eligible Purchased Coins to acquire or direct Powerstones to an eligible creator, the qualifying transaction may generate Creator Earnings under the applicable programme — the supporter does not transfer consumer Coins directly into the creator’s wallet; Peakime records the qualifying support event and calculates Creator Earnings separately.

Eligibility & Payouts

Monetisation Eligibility and Verification

Publishing on Peakime does not automatically create a right to receive payouts. Peakime may establish eligibility requirements based on activity, audience, engagement, originality, account standing, content compliance, jurisdiction, age and programme availability. When systems indicate a creator appears to satisfy a threshold, the creator may receive an eligibility notification — meaning they may begin the next stage of onboarding, not that every identity, financial and rights check has already been completed.

Before enabling payouts, Peakime may require verification appropriate to the creator and jurisdiction — legal identity, age, payout account, tax information, country or residency, beneficial ownership where applicable, intellectual-property rights, and fraud or sanctions checks. Submitting false identity information, stolen documents or fabricated rights evidence can result in monetisation suspension and broader account action.

Payout Account, Threshold and Schedule

Creators may be required to connect a supported payout method operated by a bank, payment service or other authorised provider — Peakime may not support every method or currency in every country, and creators are responsible for keeping payout details current; Peakime is not responsible for delays caused solely by incorrect information supplied by the creator.

Peakime may establish a minimum balance before a payout is processed, displayed in the creator dashboard before payouts are activated — balances below the threshold remain pending until reached, subject to the applicable programme rules. Peakime should not hide or retroactively invent a payout threshold after earnings have already been represented as withdrawable.

Peakime may operate a periodic payout schedule visible in the creator dashboard — a displayed payout date may still be affected by weekends, bank processing, compliance verification, fraud review, or another legitimate payment issue.

Settlement and Holding Periods

Peakime may apply a reasonable settlement period before newly generated Creator Earnings become payable, allowing time for payment confirmation, app-store settlement, refunds, fraud detection and chargebacks. An amount shown as estimated or pending should not be treated as fully settled until it reaches the applicable payable status.

Reversals, Taxes & Programme Terms

Refunds, Reversals and Negative Balances

Creator Earnings depend on valid transactions. If the original user transaction is legitimately refunded, reversed, charged back, or determined fraudulent, the associated Creator Earnings may also be reversed — deducted from pending earnings if unpaid, or offset against future eligible earnings where legally permitted if already paid.

If reversals exceed a creator’s currently available earnings, the account may temporarily show an adjustment or negative programme balance, with future valid earnings first applied toward the outstanding valid reversal where the applicable programme permits. Peakime should not fabricate debts unrelated to actual creator transactions.

Fraud Review, Payout Holds and Rights Disputes

Peakime may temporarily hold Creator Earnings where there is a genuine reason to investigate suspicious activity — stolen payment instruments, artificial support, transaction cycling, fake engagement, account compromise, or serious intellectual-property disputes. A hold does not automatically mean wrongdoing has been conclusively established, and Peakime should resolve legitimate reviews within a reasonable operational process. Valid undisputed Creator Earnings should not be permanently withheld without an applicable contractual or legal basis.

Where two people genuinely dispute ownership of a monetised work, Peakime may temporarily hold the disputed earnings while the parties provide evidence or seek an appropriate legal determination, releasing undisputed earnings relating to other works where technically and legally appropriate.

Taxes and Currency Conversion

Creators are responsible for tax obligations imposed on their earnings. PeakCraft or a payment provider may collect, withhold, report or remit tax where law requires it, and creators may be required to provide valid tax information before payout — a legally required tax withholding is not part of Peakime’s 40% commercial revenue share. Where transaction and payout currencies differ, applicable currency-conversion costs may affect the amount ultimately payable where directly attributable to the transaction or payout and disclosed under the relevant programme.

Statements, Minors and FANOA Revenue

Peakime may provide creators with estimated earnings, settled earnings, qualifying transactions, adjustments, refunds and payout history — dashboard figures may be estimated until transactions settle. Errors should be reported to [email protected].

A creator permitted to use Peakime but not legally capable of independently receiving commercial payouts may need an appropriate parent, guardian or other legally valid arrangement, depending on applicable law and Peakime’s supported programme architecture.

The standard 60/40 model does not automatically govern every FANOA adaptation, film, animation, licensing arrangement or PeakCraft production — those projects may have separate creator compensation or revenue-sharing terms, and where a separate signed agreement applies, it controls the commercial rights and revenue it covers.

No Employment, No Guaranteed Income, and Programme Changes

Participation in a standard creator monetisation programme does not, by itself, make the creator an employee, officer, shareholder, partner or agent of PeakCraft — a separate employment or commercial production relationship exists only where expressly established through another agreement. Peakime cannot guarantee a creator any particular level of income; earnings depend on qualifying audience transactions, programme rules, user demand and other factors, and historical revenue does not guarantee future revenue.

Peakime may change creator programmes when reasonably necessary because of changes in payment platforms, law, taxation, business economics, fraud risk or product design, providing appropriate notice where a material change affects the creator’s revenue calculation or existing rights and required. Separate signed commercial agreements are governed by their own amendment provisions.

Leaving the Programme and Account Termination

A creator may stop participating in an eligible creator programme according to available account controls and applicable terms — leaving monetisation does not automatically delete the underlying account, and any valid settled Creator Earnings remain subject to the applicable payout process.

Serious fraud, repeated copyright infringement, or other material Terms violations may result in loss of monetisation access. Termination does not automatically allow Peakime to confiscate valid Creator Earnings that were lawfully earned and are otherwise payable — though Peakime may still reverse fraudulent transactions, comply with legal holds, and deduct valid chargebacks or other applicable adjustments.

Earnings You Can Actually Trust

A creator revenue model only works if creators can predict it. That is why the 60% share, the Net Eligible Revenue calculation, and the payout process are all written out here in full — not buried in a dashboard tooltip.
