Peakime Privacy Policy

How PeakCraft Studios Private Limited collects, uses, shares and protects information across the Peakime ecosystem — written for ordinary users, not hidden behind legal language.

Effective 11 August 2026 Last updated 11 August 2026 PeakCraft Studios Private Limited

This Policy applies to Peakime and every service in the ecosystem — Peakovels, Peakart, Peakime TV, Peakpen, Peakbrush, Peakit, CraftyPeak, PeakAI Studio, FANOA, our websites, mobile applications, creator services, commerce features and support systems that link to it. When we say "personal information" or "personal data," we mean information relating to an identified or identifiable individual as understood under applicable privacy law.

One Peakime ID

Account-level info follows one identity across services — private drafts still stay private.

We do not sell your data

Peakime does not operate by selling personal information to third parties for money.

AI training commitment

Uploading Creator Content never automatically authorises general AI-model training.

90-day deletion window

Account deletion enters a 90-day recovery period before information is removed.

Your Data & Ecosystem

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information

The Peakime ecosystem is operated by PeakCraft Studios Private Limited. For general privacy questions: [email protected]. For formal legal or compliance enquiries: [email protected]. For general account assistance: [email protected]. Privacy grievances may also be submitted through [email protected]. PeakCraft acts as the organisation responsible for the processing described in this Policy, except where another entity is expressly identified as responsible for a particular service.

2. One Peakime ID Across the Ecosystem

Your Peakime ID may allow you to use Peakovels, Peakart, Peakime TV, Peakpen, Peakbrush, Peakit and other supported services through one account, so we do not need completely unrelated user identities for every product. Certain account-level information — identifier, username, profile, email, security status, age or eligibility status, account standing, content entitlements, Peak Coin balance, creator status, monetisation status and certain preferences — may therefore operate across the ecosystem.

Using one Peakime ID does not mean everything you do becomes publicly visible everywhere. A private manuscript in Peakpen can be connected technically to the same Peakime ID you use on Peakit while remaining unpublished and inaccessible to the public.

3. Information You Give Us

The information we receive depends on how you use Peakime — you do not need to provide every type simply to browse public parts of the platform.

chevron_right Account information: name, display name, username, email, phone (where supported), date of birth or age information, country, language, password-related authentication data, recovery information and account settings.
chevron_right Your public profile name does not need to be your legal name — Peakime supports pen names, pseudonyms and artistic identities, with private verification only for payout, commercial or legal programmes.
chevron_right Profile information: photo or avatar, biography, creator description, genres or interests, social links, creator links and public portfolio information you choose to display.

4–5. Creator Content, Private Drafts and Unpublished Work

Peakime is a creator ecosystem, so we process substantial content supplied by users — novels, manuscripts, chapters, drafts, notes, illustrations, drawings, paintings, webtoons, manga, comics, Panels, documents, images, video, audio, animations, covers, character designs, project files, descriptions, comments and creator posts. How we process it depends in part on whether it is private, unpublished, limited-access or public.

Peakpen, Peakbrush and other creator tools let you keep work private. A manuscript saved privately in Peakpen does not automatically become publicly visible simply because it is stored using our infrastructure, and the same applies to private Peakbrush artwork. We may still technically process private content where reasonably necessary — to save, synchronise, back up, edit, secure, scan for serious threats, provide requested features, help you recover content, provide support, or comply with legal obligations. We do not treat private storage as public publication.

6–7. Technical Information and How You Use Peakime

When you use an online service, technical information is generated automatically — IP address, device type and identifiers where applicable, browser type, operating system, application version, language, time zone, network information, login time, session information, authentication events, crash reports, error logs and performance information. We use this to operate the Service, keep accounts secure, understand technical failures, protect the platform and improve reliability.

We may also process activity information — novels or chapters you open, content you watch, searches, creators you follow, content you like or save, comments, Panels you interact with, bookmarks, reading or viewing progress, recommendations you interact with, Powerstones you use, and purchase activity — to power reading/watch history, continue-reading, recommendations, personalised discovery, creator analytics, fraud prevention and platform improvement.

8–9. Peakit Community Information and Messages

When you use Peakit, we may process information relating to Panels you publish, comments, replies, likes, follows, shares, reports and other supported social activity. Some of this may be public if you intentionally publish it publicly — you should avoid publishing information you consider highly private in publicly visible Panels, profiles or comments.

Where Peakime provides private messaging or creator communications, we process those communications to deliver the feature, and where reasonably necessary for security, spam prevention, abuse detection, user reports, legal compliance or policy enforcement. "Private" generally means the communication is not intended to be publicly displayed to ordinary users — not that it is technically impossible for Peakime systems ever to process it.

Payments & Creator Info

10–11. Purchases, Peak Coins and Wallet Information

If you purchase Peak Coins, unlock content, purchase merchandise, subscribe, or otherwise make a payment, we process transaction information — identifier, product, Coin package, amount, currency, payment status, time, marketplace or payment channel, refund status, chargeback status and related billing information. Depending on the payment method, card or banking information may be collected and processed directly by an app marketplace, financial institution or authorised payment provider rather than stored directly by Peakime. For payment assistance: [email protected].

We maintain information necessary to operate the Peak Coin system — Purchased and Promotional Coin balances, purchase source, package, issuance, consumption, digital-content unlocks, Powerstone activity, refunds, chargebacks and balance adjustments — to maintain an accurate balance, deliver content, prevent fraud, calculate qualifying creator revenue and resolve transaction problems. The Peak Coin wallet is different from a creator’s Creator Earnings account.

12. Creator Earnings and Payout Information

If you participate in a creator monetisation programme, we may need additional information before we can pay you — legal name, date of birth, residential or business address, country, identity documentation, verification status, bank or payout details, tax information, business information, rights-ownership information, and sanctions-screening information. This is more sensitive than an ordinary public creator profile and is used for identity verification, payment administration, fraud prevention, tax compliance, financial compliance, rights verification and creator support. Your legal payout identity does not need to become your public creator name merely because we privately verify it. For creator payout support: [email protected].

13. FANOA Information

If you participate in FANOA as a creator, supporter or production participant, we process information necessary to administer the programme — project-support transactions and payment information for supporters, and for creators: identity, rights information, project information, ownership documentation, contracts, adaptation permissions, project communications, production milestones and payment information. For FANOA enquiries: [email protected].

14–16. Support Communications, Reports and Copyright Information

When you contact Peakime — helpsupport, peakpaysupport, creatorpayouts, privacy, legalCompliance, copyright, dmca, security, grievance, creatorsupport, fanoa or safety — we process what you send us to understand your request, verify facts, provide support, resolve disputes, investigate problems and maintain appropriate records.

When you report content, an account or a safety issue, we may process the reporter, the reported account or content, the reason, supporting evidence, moderation decisions, appeals, enforcement history and relevant communications — helping us protect users, enforce policies, handle appeals and identify repeat abuse. Some records may need to remain after account deletion where retention is reasonably required to prevent serious abuse or comply with law.

When you submit a copyright complaint, counter-notification or other rights request, we may process your name, contact information, the rights you claim, the affected work, URLs or content identifiers, supporting documentation and communications relating to the dispute — sometimes shared with the uploader or another relevant party where appropriate or required by law.

17. Information From Other Sources

Peakime may sometimes receive information from sources other than directly from you — app marketplaces, payment processors, identity-verification providers, anti-fraud services, rightsholders, business partners, content licensors, production partners, public sources, or other users. For example, a payment provider may tell us a transaction has been refunded, or a rightsholder may tell us a particular creator work is disputed. We use such information only where reasonably relevant to the purpose for which it was received.

How We Use Data

18. Why Peakime Uses Personal Information

We do not need every piece of user information for every purpose. We use information to provide Peakime services (creating and authenticating your account, storing creator works, delivering purchases, maintaining Peak Coin balances), personalise your experience (recommendations, continue-reading, organising content), process payments (verifying purchases, crediting Coins, handling refunds and chargebacks), enable creator monetisation (eligibility, verification, calculating earnings, processing payouts, detecting manipulation), maintain safety and security (authentication, fraud and spam detection, enforcement), improve the platform (crash and performance analysis), and comply with legal obligations (responding to valid legal requests, maintaining required records, handling disputes, tax and financial compliance, intellectual-property claims).

20–21. Recommendations and Automated Systems

We may use signals such as reading activity, viewing activity, searches, follows, likes, bookmarks, genre interests and creator interactions to recommend content, alongside broader signals like popularity, freshness, safety, language and availability. Where Peakime provides personalisation or recommendation-history controls, you may use them to adjust your experience.

Peakime may use automated systems to assist recommendations, content classification, moderation prioritisation, spam and fraud detection, account security, copyright matching, payment integrity and creator-eligibility signals — not every platform decision is made exclusively by a human where automated systems are involved. Where applicable law provides rights relating to automated decision-making or profiling, Peakime provides the required disclosures, controls or review mechanisms, and particularly significant actions may be eligible for additional review.

22. Artificial Intelligence and Your Content

It is important to distinguish AI processing from general-purpose AI model training.

Peakime does not treat the mere upload of Creator Content as permission to train Peakime’s general-purpose generative AI models. Saving a novel in Peakpen, storing artwork in Peakbrush, or publishing through Peakart or Peakit does not automatically authorise general AI training.
chevron_right AI or machine-learning systems may still process content or activity for recommendations, search, moderation, spam detection, fraud prevention, security, translation, accessibility, content classification and copyright protection — processing for one of these purposes is not the same as training a general-purpose generative model.
chevron_right Where you voluntarily use a generative or AI-assisted feature, Peakime may process the content you submit to provide that requested feature.
chevron_right A creator may separately participate in a FANOA or other production involving AI-assisted animation, previsualisation or synthetic media, governed by separate creator or production agreements — ordinary publication does not by itself grant every possible production right.

23–24. We Do Not Sell Your Data, and Advertising

Peakime does not operate by selling users’ personal information to third parties for money. We may share information with service providers or commercial partners for the specific purposes described in this Policy, but that is different from treating personal information as a product to be sold. If our future business practices materially change in a way that constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" under an applicable privacy law, we will update our disclosures and provide the required controls — not silently change the meaning of this section while telling users nothing changed.

Peakime may in the future support advertising, promotions or sponsored placements. If introduced, we may use information to measure advertising, prevent advertising fraud, or determine appropriate experiences, and will provide any consent, opt-out or special protection required by applicable law for behavioural advertising.

25. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Peakime websites and web-based services may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies. Some are necessary for essential functions — maintaining a signed-in session, protecting accounts, remembering security choices, maintaining a shopping session, preventing fraud. Others may be used for preferences, analytics, performance, personalisation, and, if introduced, advertising. Where applicable law requires permission before non-essential technologies, Peakime provides appropriate consent or preference controls; blocking essential storage technologies may prevent some features from functioning correctly.

Sharing & Protection

26. When We Share Information

Peakime does not need to make every piece of personal information available to every company we work with — we share information only where reasonably necessary.

chevron_right Service providers — cloud infrastructure, content delivery, storage, cybersecurity, email delivery, customer support, analytics, identity verification, payment processing, creator payouts and fraud prevention, receiving only what is necessary to perform their function under contractual and organisational safeguards.
chevron_right App stores and payment services — Apple, Google, financial institutions and payment providers process transaction information under their own privacy policies.
chevron_right Creator and production partners — where a creator voluntarily enters a FANOA, licensing or production arrangement, information may be shared with relevant artists, production teams, licensors or contractors involved in that project.
chevron_right Corporate transactions — if PeakCraft is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or sale of assets, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
chevron_right Legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process or competent authorities, protect users, investigate fraud, prevent serious harm, enforce legal rights, or protect the security and integrity of Peakime.

27. Government and Law-Enforcement Requests

Peakime does not provide private user information to someone merely because they claim to represent a government or law-enforcement body. Requests should go through appropriate legal channels with sufficient information for us to evaluate them, and we review requests for legal authority, jurisdiction, scope and specificity where reasonably possible. Where legally permitted and appropriate, we may notify an affected user before disclosure — but not where notification is legally prohibited, a valid confidentiality requirement applies, notice could interfere with a lawful investigation, or an emergency requires another response. For formal legal requests: [email protected].

28. International Processing

Peakime may use infrastructure, service providers, employees, contractors or production partners located in more than one country, meaning information may sometimes be processed outside the country in which you live. Where applicable law restricts international transfers, Peakime uses the safeguards or mechanisms required for the relevant transfer, depending on the countries, provider, information type and applicable law — we do not claim one global transfer mechanism applies to every country.

29. How We Protect Information

Peakime uses technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information — authentication controls, access restrictions, role-based permissions, secure communications, encryption, logging, monitoring, fraud detection, backup controls, security reviews and incident-response processes, with access to sensitive creator, payout, legal or account information limited by role and operational need.

No internet-connected service can responsibly guarantee that security incidents will never happen. Our commitment is to implement reasonable safeguards, improve them as our systems evolve, investigate credible incidents and comply with applicable security and notification obligations. Compromised account: [email protected]. Vulnerability report: [email protected].

30. Security Incidents and Personal Data Breaches

If Peakime becomes aware of a material security incident involving personal information, we may investigate, contain affected systems, protect accounts, preserve appropriate evidence, remediate vulnerabilities, and assess whether authorities or affected individuals must be notified. Where applicable law requires notification of a personal-data breach, Peakime provides it in accordance with the applicable legal requirements, and may require affected users to take steps such as changing a password where reasonably necessary to protect them.

Retention & Deletion

31. How Long We Keep Information

Peakime does not use one single retention period for every type of information — different information serves different purposes, and we retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary, subject to applicable legal, contractual, security and operational requirements. Active account information may be retained while the account remains active; private creator drafts remain while the creator chooses to store them; public creator content remains while published; Creator Earnings information remains while financial obligations are pending; transaction information remains for accounting, tax, payment or dispute purposes; security logs remain for applicable security periods; copyright or enforcement records remain where reasonably necessary to resolve disputes or prevent repeated abuse. When no longer required, Peakime may delete or de-identify it according to applicable retention processes.

32–37. Account Deletion, Verification and the 90-Day Period

Peakime allows users to request deletion of their unified account through supported account settings or another supported process. Because one Peakime ID operates across the ecosystem, deleting the account may affect Peakime, Peakovels, Peakart, Peakime TV, Peakpen, Peakbrush, Peakit, CraftyPeak, PeakAI Studio and other connected services.

Deletion is a sensitive action — Peakime may require reasonable authentication or verification before allowing it to proceed, and may temporarily pause deletion where there is evidence an account may have been compromised. Verification should be proportionate and should never make legitimate deletion unnecessarily difficult.

After a valid deletion request is confirmed, the account enters Peakime’s 90-day scheduled deletion period — deactivated, hidden, restricted or otherwise placed into pending-deletion status. This acts as a recovery window for accidental deletion, a change of mind, or deletion following an account compromise. If you reactivate during the 90 days through the supported process, the pending deletion is cancelled; if you later still want deletion, you must submit a new request, which may start a new 90-day period.

If you do not reactivate, Peakime proceeds with deletion or de-identification of eligible account information through its active systems according to applicable technical and legal requirements. Once completed, the Peakime ID no longer provides normal access to the deleted account — though information may remain temporarily in protected backup or disaster-recovery systems until normal secure rotation removes it. Backups are not intended to be restored into ordinary active use except for legitimate disaster recovery, security or legal purposes.

37–40. Information We May Keep, and Deletion of Creator Content, Earnings and Suspended Accounts

Certain information may need to remain even after the ordinary account is deleted — records required for legal compliance, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, refunds, chargebacks, taxation, accounting, creator payouts, copyright disputes, grievance handling, regulatory obligations, legal claims and court orders. Where retained for one of these reasons, it stays restricted to that purpose rather than being treated as part of an active public user profile.

Ordinary user-generated content associated with a deleted account may be removed, deleted or de-identified according to the relevant product and deletion process — but a separate commercial agreement (for example, a licence to PeakCraft for an active FANOA adaptation) is not automatically terminated by deleting the ordinary account.

Deleting an account does not erase valid payment obligations. Peakime may need to retain and process information necessary to pay valid Creator Earnings, resolve disputed earnings, complete identity verification, perform tax reporting, handle chargebacks, or comply with financial requirements — account deletion does not by itself permit Peakime to confiscate legally entitled unpaid amounts, though required payout or compliance verification may still need to be completed ([email protected]).

A suspended account may still have privacy rights under applicable law — Peakime does not treat suspension as an automatic reason to reject every legitimate privacy or deletion request, though we may retain limited enforcement information to prevent ban evasion, protect other users, investigate fraud, preserve evidence, defend legal claims, or comply with applicable law.

Your Rights

41–42. Your Privacy Rights and Verifying a Request

Privacy rights vary depending on where you live and which law applies. Where applicable, you may have rights to request information about processing, access personal information, correct or update it, request deletion, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, object to certain processing, request restriction, obtain information in a portable form, raise a grievance, and exercise other rights provided under applicable law. Some requests can be completed directly through your account; others must be submitted to [email protected].

Before providing access to private account data, changing sensitive information, or deleting an account, we may need to verify that the person making the request is genuinely entitled to make it. Verification helps protect users from identity theft and unauthorised disclosure, and the information requested should be proportionate to the sensitivity of the request — never more than reasonably necessary just to discourage people from exercising legitimate rights.

43. Indian Privacy Rights and the DPDP Framework

PeakCraft Studios Private Limited is an Indian company, and Peakime is being designed to comply with the Indian digital personal-data framework as its applicable provisions come into force — including mechanisms for information about processing, correction and updating, erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent, and grievance redressal. Peakime’s systems and policies may be updated as different statutory provisions and implementing rules become effective.

44. European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or corresponding European data-protection law applies, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable legal basis, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions — for example, a deletion request does not necessarily require deletion of information that must legally be retained. Where Peakime is required to appoint or publish details of a representative, Data Protection Officer or other privacy contact for a particular jurisdiction, those details will be added to this Policy or an appropriate regional notice.

45. California Privacy Rights

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act and its applicable regulations apply, California residents may have rights to know what personal information is collected and used, request access, request deletion, request correction, receive information concerning certain disclosures, and opt out of covered sale or sharing of personal information. Peakime does not currently operate a business model based on selling users’ personal information for money; if that changes under applicable California law, we will provide the required disclosures and opt-out mechanism, including recognising applicable legally mandated opt-out preference signals where required. Requests: [email protected].

46–47. Other Regional Rights, Children and Teens

Peakime may be available in countries with privacy laws providing rights beyond those described above — where such laws apply, we provide the protections and mechanisms they require, and may introduce regional privacy notices as Peakime expands where meaningful differences in local law make a supplemental notice useful.

Peakime includes creative and entertainment services that may appeal to younger audiences, but not every feature is suitable for every age. Peakime may establish minimum ages for account creation and additional age requirements for particular Services. Where applicable law requires verified parental or guardian consent for a child, Peakime may require a supported parental-consent process; if we do not support an appropriate child-account or parental-consent system in a jurisdiction, we may restrict accounts below the supported minimum age rather than collecting children’s information through an unsupported process.

chevron_right Teen users may receive additional protections around mature-content visibility, public discoverability, community interactions, messaging, advertising, recommendation systems, payments, creator monetisation and commercial creator agreements.
chevron_right The minimum age for ordinary platform access does not necessarily mean a user is legally old enough to independently enter every financial or production contract available through Peakime.
Communications & More

48. Communications From Peakime

Some communications are necessary to operate the Service — password-reset emails, login alerts, security warnings, transaction confirmations, payout information, account-deletion notices, and important Terms or Policy notices. Users may not always be able to opt out of essential service communications while maintaining the relevant account. Peakime may also offer optional communications — creator news, recommendations, product announcements and promotional offers — from which you may unsubscribe using the method provided in the message or your account settings.

49–51. Analytics, De-Identified Information and Business Analytics

Peakime may use analytics systems to understand feature adoption, application crashes, page performance, content discovery, navigation patterns, aggregate engagement and technical problems, seeking to configure analytics to minimise unnecessary collection where reasonable, and aggregating or de-identifying information where appropriate.

Where information has been genuinely de-identified so it is no longer personal information under applicable law, we may use it for analytics, research, product development and business planning — we do not describe information as anonymous merely because a username was removed if the remaining information can still reasonably identify the person.

Eligible creators may receive analytics about how audiences interact with their content — aggregate reads, views, engagement or Powerstone activity — designed to provide useful performance information without turning ordinary reader privacy into creator surveillance.

52–54. Data Accuracy, Minimisation and Employee Access

Some functionality depends on information being accurate — you should keep important account, payout and contact information reasonably current, and creators receiving money are particularly responsible for accurate payout and tax information.

Peakime aims to collect information reasonably connected to the services and purposes described in this Policy — not every user needs to provide identity documentation, and a creator may need to provide additional information only when they enter a programme that genuinely requires it. We aim to avoid collecting highly sensitive information merely because it might be useful someday.

Not every person working with Peakime should be able to access every user’s information — we aim to restrict internal access according to job responsibilities and operational need, maintaining access controls, logs and internal policies to support appropriate access.

55. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Peakime will change as new services, creator programmes, payment methods, AI functionality and other products are introduced, and privacy laws can change too. We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary, providing appropriate notice where a change materially affects how we process personal information, through Peakime, account notifications, email or another reasonable method. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy identifies the current version, and where appropriate, previous versions may be archived. If applicable law requires new consent for a particular change, we will seek that consent rather than treating publication of a new policy as sufficient.

Your Account. Your Work. Your Privacy.

Peakime is designed around one connected ecosystem, but connected should not mean uncontrolled. A creator should understand what happens to a private manuscript. A reader should understand why their reading activity may help generate recommendations. A supporter should understand how a Peak Coin transaction is recorded. A creator receiving money should understand why identity and payout verification may be necessary — and every Peakime user should have a clear way to understand, manage and ultimately delete their account.

Our goal is to build Peakime so that privacy protections grow with the platform rather than being added only after something goes wrong.
