Peakime Payments, Peak Coins, Purchases & Refund Policy

Peak Coins, Peak Credits, Powerstones, digital goods, subscriptions, physical products, custom goods, refunds and chargebacks — explained per transaction type.

Effective 11 August 2026 Last updated 11 August 2026 PeakCraft Studios Private Limited

Peakime offers different kinds of transactions. A user might buy Peak Coins to unlock a novel chapter. Another user might subscribe to a service. A fan might support a creator using Powerstones. Someone else might purchase a printed book or commission a customised artwork, or spend Peak Credits generating AI images, video or 3D characters on CraftyPeak. Those transactions cannot all have the same refund rules — this Policy explains the differences.

Digital = generally final

Delivered digital content is non-refundable once unlocked, credited or consumed.

AI generations are final

Peak Credits are consumed the moment a CraftyPeak generation runs and are non-refundable.

Custom work = non-cancellable

Commissions and made-to-order goods lock in once meaningful production begins.

Marketplace-controlled refunds

Apple and Google may control the refund decision for transactions they process.

Peak Coins & Purchases

Peak Coins

Peak Coins are virtual digital credits used inside supported Peakime services — used to unlock eligible novel chapters, novels or volumes, webtoon or manga episodes, premium Panels, other digital content, and Powerstones or other supported digital benefits. Peak Coins are not legal tender, cryptocurrency, a bank deposit, shares, securities or investment assets, and do not give the holder ownership of PeakCraft or any creator project. Unless Peakime expressly introduces a legally compliant redemption programme, consumer Peak Coins cannot be redeemed for cash.

Peak Credits (CraftyPeak AI Generation)

Peak Credits are a separate prepaid digital instrument from Peak Coins, used specifically to pay for AI-generation compute on CraftyPeak — image, video and 3D character generation and editing. Peak Credits are not legal tender, cryptocurrency, a bank deposit, shares, securities or investment assets, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Peak Credits cannot be used to unlock novel chapters, Panels, Powerstones or other Peak Coin-denominated content, and Peak Coins cannot be used to pay for CraftyPeak generations — the two instruments are not interchangeable.

A Peak Credit is consumed at the moment a generation request is submitted and processed by CraftyPeak, regardless of whether the resulting output meets the user’s expectations. This is because the underlying computing cost is incurred by Peakime as soon as the AI model runs, not when the user chooses to keep, discard or re-run the result.

Peak Credits spent on a CraftyPeak generation — image, video, 3D character or edit — are non-refundable and non-reclaimable once the generation has been submitted, except where applicable law or a controlling payment platform requires otherwise. This applies even where the output is unsatisfactory, incomplete for creative or subjective reasons, or ultimately not used, because the compute cost was already incurred at generation time. This does not affect the separate remedy available under “Failed Delivery, Duplicates and Unauthorised Transactions” where Peakime’s systems verifiably charged a Peak Credit but failed to run the generation at all.

Purchased and Promotional Peak Coins

Purchased Coins are acquired through a real-money purchase. Promotional Coins may be provided through bonuses, campaigns, referrals or other rewards, and may carry conditions that do not apply to Purchased Coins — for example a disclosed validity period where lawful. Purchased Coins will not be assigned an expiry where the rules applicable to the purchase prohibit that expiry.

Buying Coins

Peak Coin purchases may be processed through Apple, Google, an approved web payment provider, or another supported payment channel depending on device, application, country and transaction. The available payment method is shown during purchase. Peakime may offer different Coin packages at different prices — changing the price of a future package does not remove content a user already validly unlocked.

Digital Content Purchases

Digital products — premium chapters, novels, volumes, webtoon or manga episodes, Panels, digital creator goods, video access and other electronically supplied content — can often be delivered immediately.

Except where applicable law, an app marketplace, payment provider or specific product terms require otherwise, a digital purchase is generally non-refundable once the relevant digital content, Coins, entitlement or benefit has been successfully delivered, unlocked, credited, consumed or otherwise made available. This applies to completed Peak Coin purchases and eligible content unlocks.

Failed Delivery, Duplicates and Unauthorised Transactions

If a user is successfully charged but the corresponding Coins or entitlement are not delivered because of a verified technical failure, Peakime will investigate and, where confirmed, deliver the missing entitlement, restore the balance, or process another remedy required by the applicable payment system or law. Contact: [email protected].

If a verified system error causes an unintended duplicate transaction, Peakime or the applicable payment provider may reverse the duplicate amount where appropriate — report suspected duplicates with sufficient information for us to identify the purchase.

If you believe your account or payment method was used without your permission, contact the appropriate payment provider and [email protected]. Peakime may temporarily restrict payment activity while the matter is investigated.

Refunds & Chargebacks

App Marketplace Refunds

Where Apple, Google or another app marketplace processed the transaction, that provider may control or participate in the refund decision, and users may need to use the marketplace’s refund process — Peakime cannot guarantee approval of a refund that another payment platform is responsible for deciding. If a platform refunds a Peak Coin purchase, Peakime may remove the corresponding refunded Coins or reverse digital benefits acquired using those refunded Coins where appropriate.

Chargebacks

A chargeback is a payment dispute initiated through a financial institution or payment provider. Users must not misuse chargebacks as a way of obtaining free digital content. Where a transaction is validly reversed, Peakime may reverse the corresponding Coins or entitlements and may also reverse creator earnings generated from that transaction — repeated fraudulent chargeback activity may result in account restrictions.

Powerstones

Powerstones are digital fan-support items obtained or directed through eligible Peak Coins or another supported mechanism. Once a Powerstone support action is validly completed, it is generally treated as a consumed digital transaction and is non-refundable except where applicable law or the controlling payment platform requires otherwise. A Powerstone does not give the supporter copyright, ownership, equity or an investment right in the creator or work.

Peak Credits & AI Generation Outputs

Because CraftyPeak generations consume real computing resources the instant they run, Peak Credits are treated as consumed on submission of the generation request, not on delivery of a result the user is happy with. Dissatisfaction with style, accuracy, likeness, resolution, duration or any other creative or technical aspect of an AI output is not, by itself, grounds for a Peak Credit refund.

Where Peakime’s systems verifiably charge a Peak Credit but fail to produce any output at all due to a confirmed technical fault on Peakime’s side, Peakime will investigate and, where confirmed, restore the affected Peak Credits or provide another remedy required by applicable law. Contact [email protected] with the generation ID and details.

Cross-Platform Entitlements

Peakime may allow eligible digital content entitlements to follow the user’s unified Peakime ID between supported services and devices, though availability may still depend on platform rules, territory, licensing and technical support — a cross-platform entitlement does not mean every payment method must be available on every device.

Subscriptions & Physical Goods

Subscriptions

Before purchase, the relevant interface discloses the material subscription price and billing frequency. Where a subscription automatically renews, renewal continues until cancelled according to the applicable payment method — cancelling normally prevents future renewal, but except where applicable law or the payment provider requires otherwise, cancellation does not automatically create a refund for a billing period already begun. Deleting your Peakime account may not automatically cancel a subscription billed by an external app marketplace — cancel those separately through the platform that controls the subscription.

Pre-Orders and FANOA Support

A pre-order is payment toward a product expected to be supplied later, clearly identified on the product page. If a paid pre-order is permanently cancelled before the promised product is supplied, Peakime applies the appropriate refund process subject to the relevant payment channel and applicable law. A pre-order is different from FANOA support: FANOA support is a contribution toward creative development under the relevant funding model, not automatically a purchase of a finished product — refund treatment is governed by the FANOA project terms, production stage, applicable payment rules and law.

Standard Physical Goods

Peakime may sell standard physical products — books, prints, apparel, merchandise and collectibles — made or stocked for general sale rather than uniquely produced for one buyer. Return eligibility, the return window, and product-condition requirements are shown on the product page or order information. Products that are materially defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise subject to a mandatory legal remedy are handled according to applicable law.

Custom, Personalised and Made-to-Order Goods

Commissioned art, personalised illustrations, custom prints, custom-designed merchandise and individually configured creative pieces are individually produced after an order is placed.

Because time, creative labour and materials may be committed specifically for the customer, these products are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable once meaningful custom design or production has begun — without removing a customer’s rights where the product is materially defective, materially damaged, materially different from what was agreed, or otherwise legally subject to a remedy. If meaningful custom work has not yet begun, cancellation may be permitted according to the order status, and any custom-product restriction should be displayed before purchase is confirmed.

Change of Mind

For immediately supplied digital goods and meaningful custom-made production, a change of mind alone generally does not create a refund right except where applicable law or the controlling payment platform requires otherwise. For eligible standard physical goods, Peakime may provide a change-of-mind return programme according to the product-specific terms.

Pricing & Fraud

Pricing, Taxes, Currency and Receipts

Peakime may change the price of future Coin packages, subscriptions, digital content or merchandise. The price applicable to a transaction is the amount shown for that transaction before purchase, subject to obvious pricing errors and applicable law. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on the transaction, jurisdiction and payment platform, with applicable statutory charges added, collected, withheld or reported as required.

Where the user’s payment currency differs from the displayed or settlement currency, a bank, payment provider or Peakime may perform currency conversion, and applicable conversion charges may apply. The payment provider or Peakime may issue a transaction receipt or confirmation — keep receipts for significant payment disputes or support requests.

Fraud

Peakime may cancel, reverse or restrict transactions reasonably identified as fraudulent, unauthorised or technically erroneous. Users may not exploit bugs, stolen payment instruments, account farms, or false refund claims to obtain Coins, products or Creator Earnings.

Clear Rules, Per Transaction Type

A Peak Coin purchase, a subscription, a commissioned artwork and a FANOA contribution are not the same thing legally — and they should not read like they are. This Policy keeps each one honest about what you can expect.
